Daydream 01:50
Every day and every night I find myself dreaming of you in some foreign country Wearing a striped shirt, thinking that you're a genius Where are you now? Where are you now? It's been a while It's been a while I know just what you are There's nothing that you can do It's been more than three years since the last time I saw you Do you think about us? I still believe that you broke my heart for good Where are you now? Where are you now? I still flinch I still flinch I know just what you are There's nothing that you can do I know just what you are There's nothing that you can do

Magnet 01:23
You came to me I asked you who you are You said, "I liked your music but why do you sing so sad?" You asked me out for a drink and I said, "no". I can tell that you just don't know I can tell that you don't know You followed me you said, "Ask me anything and if you don't like me i'll just let you be". I asked you, "why do you still insist?" I think your sadness is like a magnet

He came straight from Pennsylvania I can sense something funny about him "Meet me at Grand Central Station I'll be wearing a blue coat." Oh, we'll catch the train Yeah, we'll catch the train Oh yeah, we'll catch the train downtown Hey Caulfield, why are you so bitter? Hey Caulfield, why do you wear that funny hat? Hey Caulfield, what have you been up to? You've smoked a hundred packets until now Oh, I didn't dare Oh but I didn't dare Oh, I didn't dare to ask

We were at the gallery I was taken aback I was dancing while I was looking at you I was trying to look sad next to that painting that you were admiring You were talking on the phone you said, "sorry you're breaking up" And you were crying, I really wanted to talk to you I saw you cursing under your breath pretending that you were all okay All the while you were so concerned over that phone call and then you looked at me You were talking on the phone you said, "sorry you're breaking up" you were crying I really wanted to talk to you Your eyes met mine and then I couldn't help myself I said, "I'm sorry, but you can break down and cry".
5.
You tried to explain the things that made you do it but I wasn't listening You asked, you begged me to reconsider but I just fell out of lust and I broke your trust I just wanted you to know that as a friend I was still around You tried to rebel against all the rotten things that were happening but I wasn't listening What will we do now that you're not here? What will we do now that you can't talk? And now that you rest under rug swept like your old cd's I just wanted you to know that as a friend ...now that you'll never get old and november is as cold as snow. I just wanted you to know that as a friend... I was still around.

I Love You 02:00
When you do the things you do I have my reasons to be sad when you say the things you say I drop it all to go with you There is no reason to be sad when I do the things I do There is no reason to be mad 'Cause you know that I love you that I love you This little dusty heart of mine feels insecure to let you go 'cause when you look me in the eyes I'd drop it all to go with you There is no reason to be sad when I do the things I do There is no reason to be mad 'Cause you know that I love you That I love you You know that I love you

about

When “Sally Met C.” they were both “daydreaming” in a party full of people that were sad but attracted to each other like “magnets”. They encountered this particular person that stood out from the rest, she was sitting in a corner writing a letter to “Arlincita” while another person with big puffy hair sat next to her. A few seconds later he was talking on the phone and constantly saying, “Sorry, you’re breaking up”. The girl signed, “I Love you” at the same time that he said those words to a person on the other end of the receiver that may or not heard the message.

Franny & Zooey Dominican Republic

Franny & Zooey is the name behind Juan Julio Peña and Victoria Linares, two buddies that were introduced at a a punk show in Dominican Republic. Years later, in the sizzling summer of 2012 they decided to make some demos for two weeks straight, giving birth to Bananafish (released on Dufflecoat Records in 2013).

The band is heavily influenced by 60’s girl groups and 80’s indiepop.
